    NPE 2024: New standards in closure production

    At the NPE trade show in May 2024, the world's most efficient production system for lightweight beverage closures was presented by the partners Netstal, z-moulds and Intravis as well as the customer Alltrista. The key facts are impressive: 26mm water closures are produced with 128 cavities in a cycle time of 1.9 seconds and then fully inspected at a speed of 80 parts per second. In addition, the lightweight closures ensure 25% material savings and are therefore significantly more sustainable without compromising functionality.
